Marcus Richardt studied visual communication and film at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. His feature films, essays and documentaries have been shown worldwide at festivals, in cinemas or on TV. In 2019, his feature film debut GOLIATH96 starring Katja Riemann was released in cinemas. At the end of 2020, his documentary film Das Haus der guten Geister (co-directed with Lillian Rosa) was released in German cinemas. In 2021, he will produce the music video clip "Horse Song" for Iggy Pop in collaboration with Esther Friedman. He is currently working on the feature film screenplay "The Passengers" (AT) and the completion of the cinema documentary "The Healing" (AT).In addition to his work as a screenwriter, director and producer, he is also involved with music recordings and video art at venues such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Oper Stuttgart and the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
